All of our furniture is built by Bill Ragland, owner of Aspen Log Creations. The furniture building process starts with our trips to the mountains of Colorado to harvest only dead Aspen trees that have aged to the right degree to make good furniture wood. We then turn those logs into rustic, yet elegant, furniture for your home whether it be in the mountains, or in the heart of the city. Most of our furniture is built to order, pictures of past projects can be seen in our Galleries. We do also stock a few popular pieces, available in Current Stock. Log furniture is distinctive and will be remembered by your guests forever. We use, as our standard finish, a coat of oil to penetrate and protect the wood and bring out the beautiful grain and color of the wood. We then finish with several coats of polyurethane to give it a smooth, lasting surface.
